Adolescence is the most important and sensitive period of ones life.
Adolescence is defined as the period between 10 and 19 years, the second decade of life.
OBJECTIVE: To determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention program on knowledge of reproductive health among adolescent girls.
Investing in younger adolescents can produce an ‘SRH and gender’ dividend by addressing root causes rather than intervening after problems develop. Implementing holistic, gendered policies and programmes that recognize and respond to the unique needs of this life-course phase represents an opportunity to facilitate healthy transitions into adulthood, including initiation of sexual and reproductive life.
